Quick and Easy Green Smoothie

Do you ever have difficulty eating the recommended daily servings of fruits and vegetables each day? sometimes I do. And, I accept it. I’m a little late to the game on this.
For years I’ve been hearing people talk about adding greens like kale or spinach to their morning smoothies, saying, “You don’t even know it’s there.” Well, I didn’t buy it. Until I tried. Now, green vegetables are regularly included in my morning smoothies.
If you use canned pineapple, you can even add the juice for a sweet-tasting smoothie.


Quick and Easy Green Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 medium ripe banana
- 1 cup fresh, canned, or frozen pineapple
- 3 large handfuls fresh spinach
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 6 water
Instructions
- Mix Ingredients:Add banana, pineapple, spinach, Greek yogurt, and water to the blender. blend until smooth. enjoy!
- Instruction:In a blender, combine spinach, a banana, frozen berries, Greek yogurt, almond milk, and honey (if using).Blend at high speed for one to two minutes, or until smooth and creamy.Pour into a glass, then sip right away.For added nutrients, you can also include other fruits like apples, kiwis, avocados, and chia seeds.
Adding plain Greek yogurt to the fruit and spinach ups the protein content, making this smoothie an easy and filling meal. You can also sneak all kinds of other good stuff into it.
Many parents find that green smoothies are an attractive way to entice their children to eat extra greens.
