Garlic
This is yet another essential ingredient as we will be using it in two forms—both for garlic oil and toasted garlic. We will be mixing the prior with our cooking oil to fry our chicken beautifully. As for the toasted garlic, this is an essential part of the dish as we will be topping the chicken with it. get 2 heads for the dish, and go ahead and chop these up.

water
Also have 1 tablespoon of water ready as we’ll need this for our butter mixture, or the delicious sauce coating we’ll need for our crispy treat.
unsalted butter
Also prepare ½ cup unsalted butter, which we will need to melt in a pan. Make sure to use a variety that is not unsalted as this fits the flavor of our butter mixture better.
parsley
Some herbs will also come in handy for crafting this dish, especially parsley! This is perfect for a subtle addition in taste, which can have a bit of a peppery flavor and can make the butter-based coating taste a bit more refreshing. grab 2 tablespoons of chopped parsley for this dish.
cooking oil
As I mentioned earlier, we will also be using cooking oil for frying. take 3 cups for this recipe.
salt
And last, but most definitely not least is some salt. There isn’t a specific amount that we will need for the recipe as that will depend on you! Should you like your chicken on the saltier side, feel free to prepare more. Just like our ground black pepper, this will be used for the butter mixture.
How to make Butter Garlic Fried Chicken
Spatchcock the chicken – So we will need to split the chicken open with either some scissors or a knife. Put Knorr Liquid Seasoning all over the chicken, and you could also use some ground black pepper for this.
Marinating – Let this stay for a good 30 minutes.
Mixing oil and garlic – Put 1 cup of cooking oil, and your garlic in a small pot. Then cook this using low heat till the garlic becomes a golden brown shade.
Filtering the garlic – Use a kitchen strainer for this, and then just set the toasted garlic aside. Also, keep the oil left for later use.
Once the marinating process is up, you can dredge your chicken in flour, and coat it entirely with this. Wait for 10 minutes so that our flour stays intact.
Heating the oil – As we wait, we can go ahead, and pour our garlic oil and 2 cups of cooking oil into a pot. Heat this until it reaches 325°F.
Deep-frying – You can put your chicken in the pot as well, and deep-fry this for about 13 to 16 minutes.
Creating the butter mixture for coating
Melting butter – Get your butter, and place it in your saucepan for melting. Then you can add salt, ground black pepper, and parsley. Turn off the heat, and incorporate just a bit of water.
Adding the mixture to the chicken – Now you can just spoon the butter mixture onto the chicken. Top this off with your toasted garlic.
